I’ve been cheerfully cooking stovetop for the last week-and-then-some, but Deb from The Smitten Kitchen provided some much needed guidance with her buttermilk roast chicken recipe. As usual for recipes gleaned from SK, the chicken came out great. Better than expected for someone who spends comparatively little time cooking.
Also a terrific find: lychee fruit for 0.99€/kg. I feel spoiled.
I see this fruit in Costa Rica…. The girls love it! I think it looks to scary to eat.
I’m going to try the chicken recipe. Always love a new Chicken recipe. I made curry chicken this week and it was yummy!!
Lychee is great! Sort of like a fragrant grape. And almost all of Smitten Kitchen’s recipes are wonderful- let me know how it turns out!
